Look At Me is about a man who wants to get people’s attention but he is constantly being ignored. Every time he feels alienated and lonely, parts of his body become transparent. The man needs to realize that something needs to change before he completely lost himself.
There is something very sincere and touching about the way the main character is designed and animated. This makes him instantly likable and relatable, which is one of the most important things a director can achieve.
Look at me is the sad story of a man disappearing. It is also the lovely tale about the power of love, in its infinite shapes, as the only elements that can keep us alive, anchored to the awareness of existence.
What a beautiful story. It really describes what a lot of us feel in this world these days. Also flawless animation. This is probably a winner of this season for me.
Very touching, fresh style and expressive. With simple lines, you feel what the character lives. I believe that the power of this short remains in the concept, most of the times I prefer a good idea than an incredible technique.
This story touched my heart with its deep story. I just 100% agree with it. In a terms of art and style, this animation is completely out of my specialisation, but I respect the execution and I think it adds up to the whole experience perfectly.
